Thermal cycling test FloripaSat-1

In space satellites are exposed to large variations in temperature. Due to the almost zero presence of atmosphere, objects exposed directly to the sun can reach very high and when present in the shadow of the Earth very low temperatures.

The FloripaSat-1 thermal cycling test was performed on October 3rd and 4th at the Integration and Testing Laboratory (LIT) of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) to simulate these extreme conditions for the CubeSat to operate as expected in its orbit.
