FloripaSat-1 Vibration Tests

During a rocket launch, onboard satellites need to withstand vibration stresses so that all of their parts are in perfect condition for space operation.

On October 2, 2019, the FloripaSat-1 vibration tests were performed at the Integration and Testing Laboratory (LIT) of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in São José dos Campos. The satellite passed tests demonstrating that it was ready to make its trip aboard a Chinese Long March 4B rocket.

Check out one of the three videos demonstrating the vibration tests done on FloripaSat-1, they are also available in floripasat’s youtube channel.
